Hey There!

My name is Koy. I am a new cybersecurity professional and am passionate about all things cyber. In my free time, I like to code, participate in CTFs, and read books about stories, hacks, and other cybersecurity-related topics. 

My true passion lies in learning about Digital Forensics. Over the years while studying at Brigham Young University - Provo I volunteered as an Emphasis lead in our Cybersecurity club and took it upon myself to learn and teach about the basics of Digital Forensics. Some highlights of those activities were teaching students about file imaging and file forensics, how to capture ram and analyze it with Volatility, and how to examine Windows Registry Hives and Chrome Browser Artifacts with Eric Zimmerman tools.

I have learned a lot on my own in the last couple of years from internships and part-time jobs in cybersecurity as well as from personal experience doing home lab projects. My peers at BYU have also been a huge influence to me as they have taught me things that they have been exploring on their own as well. Now that I am in the full swing thing of things I am excited to expand my reach and help end cyber risk.
